1. Reviews
Hollywood Book Reviews will provide an objective review of your book (“Review”) directly
to you via e-mail. The Review will be approximately 400 or more words in length, and will be completed
in 2-3 weeks.
2. Ownership
Upon the receipt of your Review you will receive a PDF file “Tear Sheet” and we thus
assign to you all rights, title and interest (including, but not limited to, all copyrights and any other
intellectual property or proprietary rights) in the content of such Review, excluding any right to any
Hollywood Book Reviews trademark or logo included in the Review. Absolutely no material alteration of
the review content is permitted, excluding generally accepted grammatical editing for size restraints or
clarity of expressions. Any addition of any word or change “foreign to the original content” will result in
the removal of the review from Internet postings.
3. Use Restrictions
You may reproduce your review partially or in its entirety, provided
for each use of the Review, you include a credit that states “Hollywood Book Reviews” or
www.hollywoodbookreviews.com with or without, at the customer’s discretion, the name of the author
writing for Hollywood Book Reviews.
4. Unfavorable Reviews; Disputes
It is understood the Review will be objective but may be
unfavorable. Second reviews will not be. Any errors such as typos or grammar will be corrected and
the revised review will be published, however no changes to content will be made unless at the sole
discretion of the reviewer. Reviewers cannot be chosen, nor will inquiries or requests regarding the
reviewer’s age, gender, race, religion or professional background be accepted.
5. Non-refundable
After you agree to submit your book to Hollywood Book Reviews, the fees paid for
the Review are non-refundable, even if your Review is unfavorable and/or you no longer wish to use it.
You may request that we don’t post on other sites or send out to the media and we shall accommodate
your request. All best efforts will be made to further delete any Internet postings. Hollywood Book
Reviews is not responsible for links that may have changed or have been discontinued after the date of
publishing the review. Future links or special requests are at the discretion of Hollywood Book Reviews
and may incur additional charges.
