A rainbow is a signal representation of God’s covenant he has made to Noah, the Earth, and all living creatures. In The Joys of Heaven: Part 1: Faith for Change in America, author Gwendolyn Cotterell-Eidukonis enlightens her readers by explaining the joys of heaven and proof we all can witness for ourselves, one of them being a rainbow. There is much discussed with references to her first book which would help provide a better understanding of those reading this one. Heaven has been described as a place unimaginable as no one has experienced an environment like it on Earth. Many people have a life goal to make it there one day.

The emotions you feel while reading can be of some fear because of the description of what the world would be like when the time of the Tribulation approaches. Already there is chaos, terror, and evil occurring all around us, yet many of the world’s people still have not an ounce of awareness of what is happening. The author is pointing out several events and lining up her visions with scriptures from the Bible, and the accuracy is astonishing. One thing that stood out to me was, in reference to the Bible, people are doing whatever they want disregarding the guidance God’s word which has been gifted to us all. I couldn’t have agreed more because we’re on borrowed time and what we do with that time is extremely important.

Some of the author’s visions have shaken me to my very core, they are relatable, and the dreams I experienced throughout my life can also be similar to foreseeing the near future of the world. No one wants to witness the end time on Earth. Unfortunately, we will never know when that time will come. This book is more than a reference material, it constantly encourages those who have not embraced a special relationship with their creator to seek Him out now; while they still have time. The author didn’t write this book along with several others for popularity or money, but she did so because she was told to do so by her listening to a voice belonging to an angel. The purpose of Gwendolyn Cotterell-Eidukonis is to write these books using it as a method to get her message through to all those who would listen and heed these warnings.

Before picking up this book I thought to begin reading the Bible for myself as my daily reading journey; this automatically boosted the encouragement as I want to understand everything written. She talks about her and her daughter’s visions, they learned to decipher them and talked about them in this book, speaking as one of God’s messengers. I feel confident that I understand pieces of scripture more because there is symbolism in addition to other signs everyone should be paying attention to which is included in this book. Understanding this brings me closer to where I want to be spiritually and I know others would feel the same. The main messages and goals written in this book are to stop whatever it is you’re doing, ask for God to take house into your heart, repent of all sins, accept the Holy Spirit, and remain on a righteous path until judgment day. I highly recommend this book to everyone who has read and haven’t read the Bible, there’s so much to learn from this.
